"Nurturing communities, empowering youth, and building a Ghana where every person has the opportunity to thrive."
Torna Foundation is a registered non-governmental organisation (NGO) committed to uplifting communities across Ghana through education, healthcare, and social welfare programs. We believe that lasting change begins at the grassroots — in the schools, homes, and streets of the communities we serve.
Based in the Volta Region, our flagship achievement is the Amissah Arthur Learning Centre in Ohawu — built in collaboration with the late former Vice President Amissah Arthur Foundation — which houses a fully equipped ICT Laboratory and a Community Library serving students and residents across the Ketu North Municipality.
Beyond infrastructure, Torna Foundation carries out wide-ranging community support interventions including school uniform donations, book and stationery distributions, clothing drives, and health outreach programs — reaching thousands of lives every year.
"Every child deserves access to quality education, and every community deserves to be uplifted. That is the mission driving everything we do at Torna Foundation."
His Excellency Ben Dostei Malor is the Founder and President of Torna Foundation. A distinguished Ghanaian diplomat currently serving as Deputy U.S. Ambassador, H.E. Malor brings international experience, a deep love for Ghana, and an unwavering commitment to community development to the heart of everything the Foundation does.
Born with a strong sense of duty to the people of Ghana, H.E. Malor established Torna Foundation as a vehicle for tangible, grassroots change — particularly in the Volta Region, where access to education and basic resources remains a challenge for many families.
Under his visionary leadership, the Foundation achieved the landmark construction of the Amissah Arthur Learning Centre in Ohawu — a partnership with the late VP Amissah Arthur Foundation that has created a lasting educational legacy for the children of Ketu North Municipality.
